Ted Schwab is a wealth manager, Managing Director and founding partner at Steward Partners Global Advisory which he helped launch in 2013. Mr. Schwab founded The Schwab Group in 1986. He has been instrumental in creating its systems and processes and is responsible for setting strategy for the practice and its clients. Mr. Schwab is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor and is the past chairman of the ultra-high net worth committee of the Association of Professional Investment Consultants and provides counsel to advisors nationwide on practice and asset management.
In addition to supporting a number of charities, Mr. Schwab is the founder and co-chairman emeritus of Spark The Journey-formerly Capital Partners for Education, which has transformed the lives of low-income children in the D.C. area for over three decades by providing scholarships, mentors, and other resources. Mr. Schwab is a member of Kingdom Advisors, the CFA Institute, the Financial Planning Association, and the CFA Society of Washington. He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
